Yes, indeed. We need a Constitutional Amendment to set term limits. But few folks in Congress would support that. So such an amendment would be doomed to failure.

There is a solution. It’s simple, but unpleasant. Exempt all current members of Congress. Grandfather them in. Then a term limit amendment just might pass.

How's this: To qualify for high elective offices, a person must have been gainfully employed in the for-profit private sector, (law firms excluded) for at least 20 years. e.g. Trump.
