Unfortunately, coronaviruses on account for about 1/5th of common colds. But rhinoviruses and RSV’s are also susceptible to protease inhibitors, so maybe a cocktail would work, since you won’t know which you have. But it might cost $1,000 to get rid of a cold and never mind the side effects, whatever they are.
