The good ones then better up their game to convert over others to our side, or what good are they?

As much as all of us would love to see a MAGA revolution with fire-breathing populists across the board it will not happen in one or two election cycles. We have to take the targets of opportunity when we can and hold serve when needed.

At this point, the leftist agenda is so radical that we need the votes. Badly. Losing the seats in Georgia with weak candidates and having a motivated base that is angry over the republicrats is starting to shake things up at the state level. That is where we win it. Trump has pretty much said the same thing.

There is no alternative and you fight with what you have and try to improve the roster when you can. This is why the Squad is so effective and so many democrats are terrified of AOC. She has a devoted following that can swing far above their weight in primaries. Trump has the same thing and I think he knows it.

If he fights them all (like Rubio for example) the rest will unite against him. If it is “grass roots” and we get rid of some deadwood they will shrug and try to ingratiate themselves more with MAGA. Many of the old ones don’t give a damn, but they are headed out the door of their own volition because they know how angry some of their voters are.

The key thing in my opinion is going to be Trump endorsements in the primaries and campaigning for his chosen candidates. That will secure a primary win in most places.
