“seeing the same people at every meal.”
That depends on which dining option you choose. There are many choices and hardly any passengers opt for fixed seating.
We love cruising, but I just shot an email off to Princess to remove us from their list for deals, schedules, etc. We were at their highest loyalty level. But ... NO VACCINE!
:-)
Yes....I should’ve clarified....we prefer (being the landlubbers, that we are) flying - well, now driving - to ocean front/beach destinations and then going to a different restaurants, each meal/night.
And, yes.....with NO VACCINE!! ๐
This may go against the disability act. There are those who’s doctor have warned against the stick. What about those?
Why do the folks who are anti-cruising BOTHERing to post to this type of thread.
If you don’t like to cruise — KEEP IT TO YOURSELF
Please
Princes may come to their senses in the future. Right now they have to placate the UK health Dept. to get restarted. - Tom
"Princess Cruises Vaccine required? Yes For whom: All passengers"
Note: "Princess only has announced the vaccine requirement for its initial restart of cruising scheduled for this summer, which will involve cruises around the U.K. for U.K. residents only".
WE hve relatives just getting over Covid and they were told to get jabbed. Apparently, naturally created antibodies are up to par.
You couldn’t pay me to take a cruise before covid. No interest these days.
Thank you. Yes. I saw that re the UK for summer, but I anticipate it’ll leak over for everyone and everywhere. I HOPE I’m wrong, and I did say in my email that we will “re-evaluate” depending on future decisions, leaving the door open. At least they know that everyone isn’t on board (no pun intended) with the vaccine mandates.
Capt. Tom;
Have you seen this: “Cruise Lines Could Start U.S. Sailings by Mid-July, CDC Says”
You need your Covid 19 jab because you want to have the pure Norovirus experience.
Capt. Tom;
Have you seen this: โCruise Lines Could Start U.S. Sailings by Mid-July, CDC Saysโ
That news is now breaking on some of the cruise blogs.
The word “could” needs to me to be explained.
Something has to give here as the Lines have started to relocate their ships outside of this country. -Tom
I started a new thread on your alerting me to this development on the CDC -moving towards letting cruise ships sailing in mid July 2021. Thanks. -Tom

Yes, most certainly good information. Thanks for posting.
My personal experience as a 81 year old with Moderna vaccines 2 shots is that after almost 8 weeks I have miniscule side effects. 2nd day after the 2nd shot I felt a bit tired and skipped my gym routine. Resumed daily gym routine on 4th day.
