I don’t think I’ve ever pushed Hyundai Sonata over 70 MPH. But it’s a great car.

You might want to stay off the roads in west Texas. Posted speed is 70 on some of the narrow 2 lane back roads, 80 on the interstate. Which means functional speeds of 80 in the slow lanes; let faster traffic have the left lane on the interstate. mid-ought Sonatas could easily handle the highway speeds. Wheelbase seemed a little short for optimal handling.

Actually it’s 85mph on some west Texas Interstates.

It was still 55 (65 on Interstates) last I was there :P
