I think it’s impossible to choke somebody with your knee on their neck while they’re laying on their stomach . The windpipe is in the front of the neck and everywhere else, the neck is protected by muscles.If that weren’t the case, we may all choke ourselves just putting on a shirt and a tie
The accusation was not that Chauvin choked Floyd at the windpipe, but that he caused oxygen deprivation to the brain by constricting Floyd’s carotid arteries. Small problem: there are two carotid arteries, each running vertically at approximately the back of the jaw line. By appearances, Chauvin was applying pressure on one side of the back of Floyd’s neck-shoulder area, about 3 inches to the rear of the carotid. How does that constrict even one carotid, much less two?
Perhaps this persecution of the m.e. will force a real examination of what physically happened.
