Nothing, other than home cooked, will EVER beat Zaxby’s IMO ever! Only fast food chicken place I go to, and normally they only drop it into the fryer once it’s order (very busy times they keep some on hand). It’s not greasy, light or heavily spiced, and just so so so yummy. One of the few you can get excellent fried okra too....

Had the Zaxbys spicy chicken sandwich a couple of times. It’s good for fast food. The I e time I had the Popeyes sandwich it had the texture of rubber. Not going to have the Popeyes again.

We briefly had a Zaxby’s here. They closed maybe six months after opening. Apparently they couldn’t get people to work there. I have noticed that local bill boards now are advertising the salary fast food places are willing to pay. Wonder why they can’t fill jobs? /s

I like zaxbys. I get there family size chicken strips in hot sauce and the big thing of Kringle fries. Eat on it for 2 days.
