The idea was that some Ev’s could be using electricity even at standstill...heating, a/c, windows, ...and one could have no power if not charged enough or if running low on power.
Now that making synthetic cleaner gasoline from atmospheric co2 and water is possible...the need for Ev’s may decline.
I understand that the computers will use electricity while the car is standing still in the traffic jam, but the car will not go dead in three hours from running the computers. My Tesla certainly would not.
