Actually, sanitation, good hygiene, and good nutrition have been more effective.
No doubt vaccines help, but they are not the be all and end all of good health and they do not deserve all the credit for improvements in health.

I believe my own eyes more than anything but I certainly trust the government more than I trust "metmom" on the internet. It seems pretty far fetched to conclude that all the governments of the world have managed to conspire to fudge their numbers for some reason. It seems like some heavy duty paranoia. That's not to say that I trust governments. I don't. Look at what Bolsonaro is doing after all. His conspiracy was not to fudge the numbers and make it look worse than it is but, rather, to fudge the reality and make it appear to be less of a problem than it is and now thousands of people are dying every day. That's what I think you're doing. The anti-mask, anti vaccine, covid denial team plays a deep game of chess for sure but I see through it.
