My brother crawled on his belly through swamps in Viet Nam to help secure free elections for the Vietnamese people. He learned to smoke so that he could burn the leeches off of his neck, arms and legs. He had to choose between brushing his teeth or keeping his rifle clean. His rifle was more important.
