Pencil Neck used the term “Our Democracy.” There’s something about that phrase that strikes me as odd. It doesn’t mean what it appears to mean. It’s like a code or a secret handshake.
Methinks you’re on track. “Our” refers to them, not us. Just like the meaning of “Cosa Nostra.”
