I saw your post 8 so yes it tends to affect infants and kids.
There’s also 23.6 million children in the US under the age of 5. If we extrapolate that then that’s about 4.7 million kids under age 1.
If 1/3 of American adults have gotten the vaccine, then we can assume that 1/3 of the parents of the 4.7 million kids have gotten the vaccine. Or 1.5 million kids under the age of 1 have a parent that has gotten the vaccine.
So it’s entirely reasonable that the one case reported is not at all related to the vaccine and just 1 of the 4 or 5 kids that would have been expected to develop TTP anyway.
Okay I read your post 8 wrong. So only 10% occurs in kids. So that would mean a rate of .3 to .4 cases in kids per 1 million people.
And we have about 1.5 million kids under age 1 so still possible that this was just a random case of TTP that had the unfortunate timing to occur after the mother got the vaccine.
