I read that they have tested the mrna vaccines in animals for 20 years and in humans (in clinical trials only) for 10 years.
I also read that the mrna usually breaks down within about 24 hours. So the cell stops producing the spike protein.
But then I read another article on FR that said, that it is possible that the mrna can be transcripted into the dna. I don’t know if that’s true.
In any event, in the short term. Your odds of dying after getting the vaccine are 0.003% or less. Your odds of dying if you get diagnosed with Covid are 1.8%.
Long term is anyone’s guess. But I’m guessing that the spike protein alone, causes a lot fewer long term side effects than the whole virus does.
