Actually, they're not. They banned the sale of new ones after the date. The ones you already had were grandfathered. That's why Magul was running special deals to CO residents before they packed up and left the state.

IIRC, this muslim guy had recently purchased the rifle. I’m guessing he also recently bought the mags as well. Still a stupid law.
