These are therapeutics, not vaccines.
I never heard that. I guess it depends on who “they” is.
RE: The BS will continue until November 2022
I don’t see how November 2022 will be anything special. If anyone thinks that the present batch of incompetent Democrat Congressmen and women will be thrown out by election, let me remind them that the November 2020 fraudulent and corrupt voting system is STILL IN PLACE and the HR 1 bill, which threatens to make it NATIONAL is looming.
Your link says 216 million vaccines.
Article says 86 million.
Who is way wrong here?
"It’s not working: 86 million vaccinated, yet daily Covid-19 cases are the same as they were in February: Narrative is shifting [??? emphasis added] to: “vaccines will make you better able to handle the disease.”"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’sf Argument
If JD Rucker was reading Free Republic, then he or she would know that Dr. Fauci had indicated last year (2020) that the first generation (my words) CV19 vaccines were intended to keep victims out of the ICU.
Fauci: vaccine only prevents symptoms, doesnât block the virus (10.26.20)
In fact, some concerned medical experts are arguing that the so-called CV19 vaccines haven’t been tested enough to satisfy standards for being called a vaccine.
Dangers OF COVID-19 Experimental Gene Therapy “Vaccine”: Just Say NO!" (2.22.21)
Frontline Doctors: Experimental vaccines are ‘not safer’ than COVID-19 (1.29.21)
Insights welcome.
I answered my own question. The CDC is wrong.
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations
They are adding together the number of one shot and completely vaccinated people.
In other words - the CDC is double counting.
I knew better than to trust governments figures.
Thanks for the references. The question then becomes this:
What are the benefits vs cost ( for want of a better word ) of taking the vaccine vs taking your chances with being infected with Covid and hopefully surviving and attaining natural immunity?
Second question: Is there a study that confidently concludes that the immunity given by the vaccines lasts longer then natural immunity due to infection?
Third question: What about the Covid variants? How good are the vaccines against these strains? Can you handle the variants better with vaccination?
Statistically, you are correct. The odds are overwhelming that a younger person in reasonably good health will not die.
What is less discussed here on FR for whatever reason is the severity of the illness in those infected and the long-term ramifications of severe illness. Those are real concerns.
It is why I got the vaccine based on my age and risk factors. I know many people who had Covid even early last year who are still having issues because of it. I also know more than a few who were very sick and miserable for days or weeks. I have two co-workers who are in great shape in their 30’s who still have not regained their sense of taste and smell months later after being very ill with it.
This is a strange virus and the politicized news coverage on both sides has not been helpful. Our “leaders” have been even worse when talking about it so even now, over a year later, it is still a confused mess.
It is a real virus. To suggest otherwise as we see on every thread here on FR is absurd. If you are elderly or older with underlying conditions (generally obesity) you DO NOT have a 98% chance of survival.
The survival number should have always been provided by age and BMI. That is the best data available. Tragically or intentionally, our leaders and bureaucracies decided to use one number for the entire nation to implement their response. I have said from the outset that each person needed to do their own research and risk assessment and act accordingly. Sadly, we probably have a bunch of heavy 50 and 60 year olds here on FR who are diabetic or pre-diabetic who somehow think they have a 98% chance of surviving Covid.
I am not sure that is true and it’s one helluva risk to take based on politicized discussion here on this forum. As always though, it’s their life and their choices - not mine.
Keeping people living in fear has been the goal of the Democrats from the beginning. Without the coronavirus, Trump would definitely still be president. Our country would not be careening towards Venezuela 2. It is outrageous and sad.
Yep, you are so right. Thus my tagline:
We are sacrificing American youth’s future on the altar of our own fear. And it is a travesty.
The thought that those who have already had covid still need the vaccine is madness, absolute madness.
Is it?
I had Bamlanivimab infused. Now I learn that that has been pulled from use.
Was I a lab rat?
I don’t know. But I will tell you I went from a pain level of 7/10 to a 4 immediately.
3 the next day.

I’ve been taking D and zinc and believe that is why my symptoms are extremely mild. My son wants me to get the vax and I won’t do it. It’s been such a bone of contention between us because he, naturally, is trying to protect his 6 month old son. I understand. It’s a heartbreaking situation I find myself in. I won’t go into the issue because I’m sure everyone can figure out the predicament.
I am hoping this infusion of antibodies will act as a real vaccine and actually protect my grandson from me unintentionally passing Covid on to him as well as, or better than one of those experimental gene therapies. Can anyone help me out here and give me some advice as to whether this might work for that? I’ve not been able to find anything definitive and was hoping they will be able to advise me at the clinic. But there are so many knowledgeable folks here on FR too. Thanks.
Thank you!
The whole thing is a sham, therefore any analysis of the situation is meaningless.
It’s interesting to watch the desperate human need to find meaning in anything. Medieval. We might as well be casting bones and sniffing for the humors given the current “scientific” establishment.
My link is official CDC data, you decide :)
“could”
I’m not going to be freaking out over the latest hypothetical doomsday scenario.
And COVID 19 is not going to go away. I’ve yet to see a cold virus that does. They all hang around and come back for a second try in a slightly different form.
I know it’s anecdotal data, but a good friend who is a pharmacist tells me the cases he’s seeing are way down. A couple of months ago he was getting 10-15 people a day requesting the coronovirus protocol medicines (vit D, C, zinc, etc.). Now he says it’s one every day or two, the numbers are way down. This is in Jackson MS.
That came out not long after the vaccine. I don’t give a crap. I’m sure I had it already along with most of my coworkers and family.
I don’t care if I won’t “get as sick”.
