Keep in mind that Mick West, the “investigator” in this article, is a professional skeptic. Ergo, he is working an angle.
I always crack up at these "professional skeptics" - they can't claim one true discovery or they are out of business.
I used to respect "The Amazing Randi" because of his, sometimes hilarious, debunking of seers and other frauds. He was all hot to debunk "dowsers" and had a field divided into two sides - one with jugs of water, one with Precious Metals. The water guys had something like an 80% hit ratio while the PM guys bombed at 10%.
Instead of allowing the water guys were true, he combined the results and said both sides "averaged" 45%, and thereby false.
I wrote him off after that.
