If the United States is rotten, it’s time for red states to secede. We simply have too much baggage. We cannot simply get over the original sign of slavery. Time for Florida and Texas to declare independence and start fresh as new republics.

Don't go by states. There are no Blue States, only states with 1-2 cities that got too large. Don't consign the eastern half of the West coast states, or the lower 95% of Illinois, or western NY, or many other places to Liberal Tax Hell just because you want to keep the map with the same lines.

I don’t think secession is the answer. I do believe that we will see a loosening of ties that bind our states together. Under the 10th Amendment, there will be more power reserved to individual states.
