Great story. I bet you have many more! It’s the hardships that give us character. I can remember living out of a tent with my bride when I first separated from the Army and came back to the states. Trying to find a job so I could provide.
God gave us a job and an apartment eventually, but getting there was an adventure for sure. It helped that we were young!
Thanks for new thread Weston and for the update on your life the past few weeks. I am pretty sure most of us are down & have tended to spend less time following the depressing news

Had our small surprise party for Jenny yesterday. Birthday #62. she came home from work about 2:30 and our gathering was there. She spent a few hours and then to her moms where her sister is staying. Sister is in VErmont & husband does something with MIT museum. works remotely from Vt most of time
Some nice days here and now coolish again. Brought all of tender plants in. solicited help of birthdaty attendees so it went well.
HOpe all are doing okay in life with its craziness. Hate what is happening to our country.
