Based on the evidence I have seen, I would have to say that the prosecution did NOT overcome the standard of “Beyond a reasonable doubt”.

Granted, the arrest could have been and should have been done differently. But I don't think that the conduct of the officer rises to homicide.

Your view of whatever evidence you saw won’t make it into the jury room.

I don’t know that they will agree.

I also heard the lead prosecutor contradict himself by stating we do not have to prove the defendant’s actions (when talking about the 3rd degree assault) were intentional, while earlier when reading the statute he stated 3rd degree assault must be an intentional act.

I agree that the evidence for conviction has not been presented! For the justice system to allow this kangaroo court to convene in a riotous area is pure insanity!
