I used to follow MLB baseball very closely.
Not now.
They blew it.
I quit following the players strike in the early 90’s. Just lost interest after that.
Why would you follow a sport that cheers when a pitcher goes KKK?

Gwynn was sooooooo good

The year of the strike, Gwynn was at .394 through 110 games. He at least had a shot at .400 with more at bats, which the strike prevented. The last one to do it was Ted Williams decades earlier. Even if he didn’t quite make it, there would have been great excitement if he were close. The strike robbed all that.
