Since most of their stadiums are taxpayer supported, how long before a mayor asks the local NBA team to provide free seats for the poor? If a city provides 50% of stadium cost, then they should get 50% of seats for the poor. After all it’s about bread & circus.

The Basketball people go to big, too rich and too political. Time for them to go.
The NBA has been on the road to becoming nothing but a brutish, no finesse, smash-mouth league of tattooed thugs, set to a gangsta-rap soundtrack, for a long time now. It has long been apparent that for whatever reason the NBA only cares about appealing to inner city blacks. The NFL is going down the same road. It won’t end well for them.

Michael Jordan had over 35 million viewers for game 6 in 1998 NBA Finals. Last year, it was around 7 million viewers.
