Proposed federal infrastructure funding for rail projects has transportation planners taking another look at a Los Angeles-to-Las Vegas passenger route that Amtrak stopped in 1997 and at a high-speed rail line along the congested Interstate 15 corridor to Victorville, California.

I live in La Habra.
By the way, my mother grew up in Fountain Valley, where she lived on a farm. The area has completely changed since those days.
Incidentally, CSLB has gone woke. They dropped their mascot, the 49ers (the university was founded in 1949) for being “racist” and they got rid of their iconic statue of a gold seeker known as Prospector Pete.
Will those who are too broke for a ticket back to SoCal get a free ride?
Graduated CSULB and loved the women and the weather.
I miss Willie Choo choo Green.
There have been no less than 3 proposals in my lifetime to put a High Speed Train from SoCal to Vegas with all Private Money, NO Taxpayer Funds, and they have all been Shot Down and Buried by the Sierra Club and Friends.
