I had to look that one up. I don’t remember ever watching Bill Cosby, his stand-up sketches, or his TV show. Maybe I saw him if he was on the Ed Sullivan Show, but other than his “Fat Albert” character, I’m not familiar with any of his sketches. I grew up on Abbott and Costello, Martin & Lewis, Ed Wynn, Jimmy Durante, Red Skeleton, Martha Raye, and others. I also remember Señor Wences and his lipstick hand-puppet Johnny who used to be on Sullivan’s show on a regular basis. I’m also not a big fan of sit-coms either. Never watch them.
I had every Cosby album growing up. Yes he’s a douche in real life, but then again, I’m convinced now pretty much every celebrity is.
