Good tune. I don’t think I ever heard it until now.
One of my all-time favorites - power-pop brilliance.
Love the wedding video that goes with the song. I watch it more than occasionally.
Love Nick Lowe. Favorites are ‘The Rose Of England,’ ‘They Called it Rock,’ and ‘Ragin’ Eyes.”
“Marie Provost” is great - if a bit macabre.
Always liked Nick Lowe... and Dave Edmunds & Rock Pile.
Think it was the country twang factor that connected Carlene Carter (who’s had a lifetime of trying to stay clean off drug no thanks to Petty’s bassist Howie Epstein who “helped” her and they both had problems, she recovered & he died from his). Carlene, a “Carter” like her mother June who married Johnny Cash and all that history now passed. Such promise in Carlene, lot of talent.

Carlene was cute and high energy, much older now of course and, different she’s played Nashville some, and out in San Fran at Hardly Strictly festival.
I Fell in Love (w/ Albert Lee on great twang plus, Levon Helm on mandolin, Epstein bass and Benmont Tench- Heartbreakers. Pumped up y’ might say):
