The very politicians who are adamantly against laws that would require voters to present any type of I.D. to vote for them, want to pass a law that would grant them access to the personal information of anyone who might wish to see them removed from office.
Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, and his friends in government, are upset that the state’s electorate might be acting up and engaging in representative democracy. More than two million citizens of the formerly Golden State have thus far exercised their right and signed a petition to recall the tyrannical and hypocritical Governor.
This did not sit well with Newsom or his “Democratic” colleagues. The California State Senate Elections Committee has prepared Senate Bill 663, apparently supported by Newsom himself, that would allow a politician targeted by a recall to get a copy of the petition - including the names and addresses of everyone who signed it and their contact information.
Try to wrap your mind around that: the very politicians who are adamantly against laws that would require voters to present any type of I.D. to vote for them, want to pass a law that would grant them access to the personal information of anyone who might wish to see them removed from office.

Communists always want to know where their opponents live.
The very reason I use fake accounts on social media, if I used my real name posting “right wing” opinions, they’d probably burn my home down.
The ultimate goal is killing off the referendum and recall processes, which have been quite successful in California.
I know. There will probably be random thug visits on petition signers to instill fear of ever doing it in the future. There is only one way to deal with a bully.
Voter intimidation. They should be prosecuted.
We know there is only one kind of Good Communist.
This is SO bad that you’d think it would disqualify the Dems from holding office in California in the minds of the public. But I doubt that it will have any effect on the vote, even if passed and well-publicized.
Surprise! The democrat party will retaliate against you and try to destroy you for speaking out about their tyranny.

I wonder if a recall will even happen. These leftists control so much, they could just have signatures invalidated or have a judge impose delay after delay for fact finding.

That kid was raised right.
It is true that they flagrantly ignore the law and the Courts make excuses for them.
This will play out at the state level first. After that, it is unknown.
We are a republic of states. And that is what the founders intended.
We will soon see if we can “keep it” as Mr. Franklin commented.
I signed the petition, which is scheduled for a vote sometime in the fall once the verification process is completed. We got way over the minimum requirement for it to be on the ballot, even with the Dems/Soc/Commies trying to cheat. Let them doxx me. I don’t care at my age.
I will raise my hand and publicly admit to signing the recall petition, asking others to sign the petition and turning in pages of signed petitions.
ALL RIGHT! Way to go!
