Not here in California. Here, open the valve all the way and dust comes out. 1000 miles of coastline and nary a desalination plant in sight. OK we have a few. But not nearly enough of them, and they are older tech. More than 50% of Israel’s water supply (which also goes to the Palestinians) comes from desalination. They do it right. Low cost, high output and fairly simple to remove the excess brine. But I digress. Back to the riotous assembly.

Aruba uses a desalination process for their water. They even offer tours thru the plant

They run it thru minerals too. Best water I’ve ever had is Aruba tap water.
