That is a rate of 74/78,000,000 which is about 0.0001%

So we have 1% (your number) vs 0.0001%.

So the improvement (decrease in death rate) is about ten thousand fold.

You aren’t even counting all of the serious suffering many of the survivors go through, including in some cases permanent issues that can even be disabling. You have to add those people onto to the deaths.

You have to add those people onto to the deaths...and I mean that as being factored onto the negatives for the virus that can be prevented, not that they should count as a actual numerical "death."

Adding that on for emphasis and clarification I realize some may try to twist what was my meaning, but it was awkwardly worded.
