My observations from the last couple of years, couldn’t stand Verstappen after the 2018 and 2019 and the Netflix documentary associated with them, thought he was an incredible prima donna and pompous as hell.
I watched in the mid to late 80’s. They killed the turbos for a cost saving and I left, which means I missed most of Williams/Renault dominant period.
I came back with the Netflix show and F1 is about the only sport I watch at all these days, I don’t see that changing when the virus all clear is finally sounded.
I realized all 20 drivers are prima donnas to one degree or another, keeping that in mind makes it more tolerable.
I think Max made great strides during the 2020 season, maturing or gaining perspective or something but is much more relatable and tolerable now. I think Perez and Verstappen have a lot to go against Mercedes but the did have some equipment issues and DNFs last year can’t afford that if they really want to make it to the end with a chance.
Also, I root for Bottas as I appreciate Mercedes and what I imagine it took to build that dynasty but yes Hamilton is pretty overbearing.
I know it is barely round two but has Aston Martin (Force India/Racing Point/Pink Panther) slid backward? I thought the 15 point penalty that cost them 3rd was unfair, but McLaren seem to be on the rise with maybe Alpha Tauri and Ferrari limping back, but Renault and Aston Martin waning?
Lot’s of season left hoping it is entertaining.

I was pooh-poohing that Netflix until I actually watched it and was pretty darn impressed. High quality work for sure. If they had nobody but Guenther Steiner on it would be worth watching, LOL.

I ditched ESPN as a cost cutting move dropping back to Sling Blue but I discovered on Bahrain day that F1 seems to have more pirate streams than the NFL, not that I would do anything like that...

Got more pics at salvage yard I’ll post after I get them off Mama’s phone. The Girl was VERY much being watched by God this time. Don’t know how She didn’t get broken legs. That “hole” in the windscreen is the buckled dashboard sticking out. I think She got T-Boned by the Dump Truck because the whole left side is flat all the way to the roofline. The Baby Seat got crushed, I’m glad the Monkey Man wasn’t in it because He’d be dead !!
