“Crazy Love.” Listen to it regularly, and looked Poco up on YT a week or two ago. Great talent.

I saw Poco a couple of times in the 70s. Those boys could rock and Rusty’s solos were always amazing. That crazy guitar he played. Great memories. RIP Rusty

"The Heart Of The Night" is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. This boy from the suburbs of Boston always wonders what it would have been like growing up in the South when he hears it.
Sublime!

I only remembered Johnny Winter from that night...!
If I remember correctly, Edgar came on stage for a few as well.

The story I heard years ago was that the Eagles copied what Poco was doing. The guys from Poco looked around and said well crap we might as well quit because the Eagles are doing what we do only better. Better meaning more commercial

Did Edgar have his keyboard slung around his neck?

I saw Rusty and Poco and right before Covid at a theater in Westchester NY. Jim Messina and his band opened up for them. RIP Rusty

I just saw someone posted an album with his signature from PB Scotts in Blowing Rock NC. What a coincidence

“Rose Of Cimarron” - Written by Rusty Young - Timothy B Schmidt assisting on vocals The song would have fit perfect into the story line in Eagles Desperado album. Randy could have hit the high notes Timmy did with Poco.
