This is actually a good thing. Those who WANT to get vaccinated will be able to get an appointment without having to sit by their computer looking for open appointments.
I’m surprised that 80% (and increasing) of our 65 and over population have now gotten at least their initial shot. We need to reopen our schools now and eliminate the requirements to wear masks. Healthy children and young people are minimally affected by Covid-19. They certainly are more adversely affected by the lockdowns and mask requirements than they would be by an asymptomatIc or mild Covid-19 case.

In Arizona, demand among the 65+ crowd has leveled off at 78% vaccinated. It is leveling off for those 55-65 at 56%. Looks like it is leveling off for those under 55 at around 35-40%.
Makes sense to me. It took me close to a month to get an appointment for my first shot a week ago. There were TWO time slots left open on ONE day. But now someone looking for their first shot can find appointments available any day, any time, no problem.
I’m not stupid for getting the vaccine. And others are not stupid for refusing. Freedom! Let folks do as they see fit. INDIVIDUALS making their own decisions. What a concept!

We are on the doorstep of reaching the point where everyone who wants to be vaccinated has it available to them. At that point, a sane government must end any and all "health emergency" restrictions, period.
