Isn’t the CDC a non governmental organization that owns patients and sells drugs? What authority do they really have over us.
It’s a federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services. In fact Dr. Fauci is the highest paid federal employee.
Should have mentioned the CDC is not a regulatory agency. Not a lawyer or politician, but common sense would tell me they can’t issue regulations, rather issue guidelines and enforce regulations issued by Congress. They’d claim authority under the mandate to prevent interstate transmission of communicable diseases. Which they probably have when it comes to issuing guidelines. Shutting down an industry isn’t a guideline.
