Whether these "drones" are ours or China/Russia's, steadily leaking this information to the public is an odd way of informing the country and the world.

The motive behind this drip, drip, drip of UFO stories is almost more mysterious than the encounters themselves.

The Pentagon is “lifting their skirt” to the Chinese. This is a good way of showing an enemy their capabilities without “announcing” them.

There is no other reason to do all of this disclosure.

Three possibilities grasshopper:

(Not very often I get to use that phrase... ;o))

1. It's our technology and is our way of making our adversaries aware.

2. They're from China or Russia and the possibility of them being aliens is far less frightening than our adversaries having hypersonic aircraft that we don't understand and or cannot defend against (at least publicly).

3. They are aliens.

I'm going with #3...Occum's Razor...
