What a messed up headline. How about, “to bring newborn to court”? I thought this was satire because it sounded as though the mother was going to sue her newborn.

Back when I lived in North Dakota, Jury Duty paid a whopping $50 per day. Here in Pennsylvania, it doesn't even cover cheap parking ($1/hour) and a basic lunch in the courthouse.
I also know I am going to get excluded because I have a daughter who was a victim of a robbery and have been a party to a lawsuit.
The daughter, however, still gets called regularly even though she lives in Japan. So does the wife, even though she doesn't have a driver's license.
