Nuclear power is one thing the French got right. I remember the No Nukes concerts that were popular during the “eeeevil Reagan regime”. Also around that time the Sane Freeze coalition, a bunch of hysterical housewives (Karen’s mothers?) who would hang out at busy intersections holding signs and making noise. Funny how since the madmen in N Korea and Iran got nukes of their own the anti nuke protests....silently...faded... away
France took an American Westinghouse PWR design standardized it licensed that one version and cookie cutter built them in mass while ignoring the greens. They got the whole process right. I’m also old enough to remember the grandma Karen’s picketing with no nukes.
