This was from the testimony of the paramedic who testified yesterday regarding his arrest and being treated in April 2019.

BTW, I was surprised to learn the paramedic say she had been in EMS for 30 years and now retired. She looked much younger.

Nelson: In terms of stress reaction, jury saw some evidence of an incident off 2019, ,a year prior to Floyd death, stopped by police, admitted to ingesting controlled substances, seen by paramedics. At that time, his blood pressure was 216/160. Signify to you?

Fowler: That's markedly elevated, could be due to his hypertension being out of control, but this is much higher than expect from that. Could be part of stress reaction, adrenaline secreted and pushing heart rate and also causing vasoconstriction.
