“Contrary to what pretty much everyone on here said about her, all she wanted to do is have a bill that separated high school girls from college female athletes.
What she wanted was to give young girls in South Dakota a chance. And now South Dakota has nothing.
She wanted a united front to take on the NCAA to make them capitulate instead of seeing them try to boss everyone around and intimidate them, just like they’re doing now.”
I’m not buying what you are attempting to sell. The South Dakota House of Representatives wasn’t buying it either. The SD Senate is composed primarily of RINO’s that are in the Governor’s testicle lock box. They were momentarily energized by the voice of the people and passed the bill after initially killing it.
The Governor killed the bill with tactics designed to look like the Legislature was the problem. The Legislature did it’s part when certain members refused to override the Governor’s veto and the bill suffered death by design despite three states previously passing identical legislation.
Now unfortunately FL stands in the breach essentially by her lonesome. The NCAA and the National Federation of High School Associations where this S^^t originally germinated need to be crushed by the voice of the people if you believe there are male and female created he them and one doesn’t have the right to be in the others bathroom despite “feelings” to the contrary.
That, over and above the girls and boys sports participation by anyone other than girls and boys competing against those born who they are. The Constitution notwithstanding, the infinitesimally small percentage of those in opposition and their tradition, culture, and Nation destroying ideas need to be silenced before the vengeful hand of God destroys all of us in anger as he has prophesied he would do when we are ripe in iniquity. Just my humble opinion.
You’re not buying, fine. I’m not mad at you. Think what you want.
You don’t know what she’s thinking. Maybe the next time the two of you have some coffee or a few drinks together you can ask her for some clarification.
All I know right now is, girls in high school and below in South Dakota have no protection against some boy wanting to play soccer on the girls soccer team.
She’s the Governor of South Dakota. Her responsibility is to the people of South Dakota.
She doesn’t have nor didn’t have to draw a line in the sand on what would perceived, on the federal level, for anyone. Would it have been nice? Absolutely.
But, she said what she said. She wanted the states for form a bloc to take on the NCAA. A united front. The Governors, Legislatures and states standing shoulder to shoulder against the petty tyrants in the NCAA. Too much to ask I guess.
Don’t you find it amazing that the Left can stand together to protest the sun rising in the east every day, but Republican’s cant unite for one thing.
Right now there should be a bloc of Republican led states, standing together to OPPOSE EVERYTHING coming out of the Harris and CornPop administration. They should have folks in Texas, right now, loading up buses and shipping all those illegals to New Mexico, Denver, California, Nashville, Detroit, Madison, Seattle, Portland, Salem, Eugene, Chicago, NYC, DC, Boston, Beacon Hill, Charlotte, Chattanooga...and those are just a few of the liberal cities I can mention. I won’t even mention places like Hilton Head and Charleston, cells of RINO-Lindsey Graham supporting scum
