That IS a racist statement. What the heck is wrong with these people?

Luther is a great series. I watched the first season on Netflix.

Wouldn’t a Brit eating Caribbean food be cultural appropriation?

“I’m not saying the Klan is behind all this, but if it turns out they are, what has happened the last 24-months sure makes a whole lot more sense.”
What Klan? The KKK? There are only 5 of them. Three of them work for the SPLC and the other two for the FBI.

Obviously, there is no Klan to speak of. I was being facetious, pointing out the absurdity of our current racial dialogue and how that dialogue and the expectations it sets is such an incredible departure from where expectations had been established by the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.
We’ve gone from trying to make people live their lives in the absence of judging people by skin color and racial tropes to demanding that people live their lives based on nothing but skin color and racial tropes.

Sounds like this person’s concept of “a Black” is “an American Negro from the hood.”

The woman who played Luther's wife in the first seasons is half-Indian in real life. Isn't that close enough?
Oh, wait, she left him for some white dude ....
Nevermind.
