LOL - same seemed to happen with me. Bought the plugs, and the flats started materializing right away - good some good practice though!
For my job I frequently visit construction sites. Flat tires are pretty frequent.
The Bay Bridge in Maryland is considered by many to be one of the scariest bridges to cross. I once fried a tire on a dual axle trailer about a mile onto the bridge. Drove the other 6 miles on the rim.
Funny thing was, that day I bought an impact socket for the lug nuts on the trailer.
