The IRS Business mileage for 2019, you could claim:
58 cents per business mile
20 cents per mile for medical miles & moving miles
14 cents per mile for charity drives
Now with gas approaching +$4.00 per gal has the business per mile rate be adjusted for 2020?
Tax season is almost here
Not to split hairs but I think you mean has it been adjusted since 2020.
You asked two different questions. Pick one.
shoot i thought it was .50 / mile.
2020 standard mileage rate is 57.5
It is 56.0 in 2021 but that could change by act of congress, as you well know.

But since social security checks only offered a 1.3% increase due to inflation, then per "official" DOL stats the increase would only be a 1/2 cent increase.
Who are you gonna believe - our trusty bettors in DC or your own wallet?
Now with Biden gas approaching +$4.00 per gal..SORRY!!
President Trump said gas could hit $5.00 per gal by summer.
Company truck and gas card
I don’t give a flying crap about miles anymore
Yes.. but the company that you work for needs to know....the company gas card gives the fuel costs....perhaps you have to log in daily .miles in the company car.
Bottom line is the company takes the tax deduction.
Maybe the company will fire you for using company truck for your own use.
Company might even go belly up if other employees have the same work ethic.
2021 Mileage Rates:
.56 Business Mileage
.16 Medical Mileage
.14 Volunteer Mileage
I wonder if we will see a variable scale based on your Social Credit score, once that is fully implemented based on the CCP model?
I took a picture - $1.82 on election day.
