Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford is urging all metal fans to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
“Hi everyone. This is your metal god, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, sending you a massive shoutout of thanks to our metal community for doing the right thing by getting the life-saving vaccine that will eventually eradicate COVID-19 around the world,” the rocker began in his video message uploaded to Instagram.
“One thing we’re proud about in metal is that we not only stand together united for our music, but also for each other,” the rocker declared, before reminding fans that vaccinations will likely enable the return of live music. “Common sense states that by having the jab, we’re opening up one of the most important areas that we have so desperately missed, which is being side by side, horns way up at clubs, theaters, arenas and festivals where who we are and what we live for is tangible and real with the bands we love. So let’s get those amazing vibes and feelings back faster.”
Halford closed his message by urging those who have not yet been vaccinated to “please stand up,” adding that “Judas Priest and all bands everywhere are made complete by playing live for our fans.”

Halford is one of the many rock stars to champion the importance of vaccinations via their personal social media accounts. At the end of March, the singer posted an image of himself proudly displaying his COVID-19 vaccination card, with the one word caption “done.”
They really do think “vaccines”, masks, social distancing and lockdowns will eradicate this virus, don’t they?
I don’t get my medical advice from actors or musicians
Priest is not at all thrash.
The entertainment industry has been crushed financially over the lockdowns. They want to tour again. that’s their job.

Actually, this makes perfect sense.
Johnny Rotten said vote for Trump and denounced the lockdowns.
Didn’t he get replaced in Judas Priest by a fan singer?
I think that was Journey.
Well I knew about Jim Morrison’s dad
The last time I followed Johnny Rotten's advice was when he said "Vote Trump"!
It gets really tiring hearing that same old worn out lie the left loves talking about how we all just wear masks, and get the vaccine, etc. Covid will completely disappear from the face of the earth. That’s not how any virus works it will mutate it will change and it will always exist in some form or another.
It’s really hard to keep up with these idiots. You have celebrities to get the vaccine and then we can go back to normal and enjoy our concerts and what not, then a day later you have Dr. Fauci and others came out and protect him and gloom and tell us how the vaccines won’t work and you still have to wear six masks for the rest of your life. Make up your minds.
I guess a lot of aging rockers do know a lot about drugs.
“And sounds like he may need to review the lyrics to electric eye.”
Agreed.

They are an exciting, high energy act.
I love Halford’s pipes...but he really likes getting jabbed. Sad these so called rebels are such conformists.
Yes. I may have the details wrong but someone mailed Judas Priest guitarists K.K. Downing and Glen Tipton a VHS tape of a cover band where Tim "Ripper" Owens (from Ohio I think) was singing Judas Priest's "The Ripper" (Rob Halford had previously left the band). Those who know the song also know that Rob Halford hits some very high notes in it.
The sender mailed to tape to Downing and Tipton because it sounded so spot on as though lip-synced. Downing and Tipton apparently traveled to Ohio to see the show and later signed Tim Owens. The movie "Rock Star" was somewhat based on the story.
Washed up rock star advising people to get a vaccine.....and yet has more clout and probably knows more about the virus then Fauci does........or he just wants fans getting shots so he can start making money touring again
Okay.
