REO Speedwagon presented LaTonya Floyd, George Floyd’s sister, with a platinum plaque Friday for the Floyds’ favorite song, “Keep On Loving You.”
LaTonya, 52, said the last time she spoke with George, the two sang REO Speedwagon’s 1980 No. 1 hit to each other, People magazine reported.
The band heard the story, and lead singer Kevin Cronin joined a vigil for George in Houston on Friday, according to People. Cronin and LaTonya sang “Keep On Loving You” together.
Afterward, Cronin gave LaTonya the song’s platinum plaque for selling more than 1 million copies.

That’s a shame. I used to have their live album that came out in late ‘70’s. It rocked! Wild Turkey Trot was killer.
I'm highly attracted to Candice Owens of late. She is beautiful inside and out. Use to be attracted to Halle Berry until she woke. There are many black women I see on TV and movies that I appreciate their physical beauty.
That said, why is when whites are accused of "cultural appropriation" they are bad. Yet, there is a beauty parlor on every block in urban areas that straighten hair, adjust eyebrows, apply light make up and they're not accused of same? That's not counting the many black women who have cosmetic surgery.
Then you have the neurotic Michael Jackson who turned himself into a white woman. What a waste of a good-looking black man. BTW, Jackson did not have Vitiligo. I've had it all my life in small areas and Jackson showed NO signs of it early on. He just decided to bleach his skin with a chemical that will even whiten skin of those without vitiligo. Many celebrities use it. It's called: hydroquinone. It kills the melanin cells on the epidermis.
Without bleaching to blend the white spots, the only known treatment is UV light treatments which include plant-based medication called psoralen that makes the skin more sensitive to UV. Thankfully, from all my time as a surfer, skier, and Sun tanner, my face white spots filled in. I still have some on my inner wrists, but since I don't tan anymore and have fair skin, they don't show. Jackson was a fraud.

I was at the concert where they recorded that album. Indianapolis Convention Center, Halloween night. Aerosmith opened for them.

Whenever I hear of “Virtue Signaling”, particularly by celebs, it indicates fear of coercion and ignorance of what they are doing. Money to BLM is exactly what I mean. Grifters are thieves, nothing more.
Do it, if you like, I don’t really care, but don’t expect anyone else to follow suit. We think for ourselves, thank you.
