When my Grandpa came to visit he would bring the best tacos from a restaurant by his house. One visit he stopped bringing them. We asked why and he said “Board of Heath closed it down for using cat meat.”
For years we called cats “walking tacos”
its all insanity
Yep. The article states, “The recipes are for humans”.
The sort of feral cat here usually only comes in to share my dinner plate.
During the past year, I’ve only been able to get one small bag of Fancy Feast. It’s never in stock anymore.
The 2 or 3 feral cats that visit us have to survive on cheap store brand cat food, once a day. they show up in the evening along with a opossum or two that like dry cat food. I told my wife that after taking in a 3 or 4 year old male that had been dumped and 2 kittens late last fall, we had our limit of indoor cats. She agreed. We know that the male was dumped because when we took him to the vet, she said he had been neutered.
Ours get regular Purina or Whiskas food but $$$$$ Temptations treats. I try to find dry Fancy Feast for treats since it’s cheaper. We could eat lobster every day for the cost of Temptations.
BTW, they absolutely will not touch Rachel Ray’s cat food.
Feral mama kitty birthed the older ones in the garage. A couple years later, one of the original ones brought home another litter group. The first ones are pretty smart but, hoo wee!, mama sure could have done better with the second daddy.
The one who enjoys sharing my dinner lost a fight with a possum a couple weeks ago. Thankfully, his prissy brother refused to get his paws dirty on an armadillo that has been wandering across the porch the last few days.
They could survive on the varmints they drop at my feet.
Just sayin'.
I admit
I actually eat those LOL
I remember Gravy Train. I think we even ate some to see how it tastes. I was a stupid kid.
