I read the entire story, and though I know she poisoned him, and I’m in no way excusing that, I have to question the opinion of Steve’s family that he was such a wonderful guy. They said, “he had been married so many times, we lost count.” That doesn’t sound like a wonderful guy, to me. So I’m guessing that he was abusive, as the wife said. Doesn’t excuse her poisoning him, but it certainly would be an extenuating circumstance.

My eyes were certainly opened to many things during those days. That was when I realized FOR SURE that the media wasn’t telling the truth about a LOT of things. After that, my default position on anything the media says is that they’re lying to me. It’s been a better default position than the one I used to have.
I also learned that the Bushes weren’t good, honorable people like I had hoped. Dirtbag politicians, nothing more.
