Not surprised - the quality of Hollywood movies has been in decline for decades. Their viewing market has expectations that Hollywood can't meet and so don't bother to try.

Recycling and rebranding for less discerning audiences has been all they have left for quite some time now.

It is kinda sickening, but the Chicoms are producing better movies than Hollyweird.
Yeah, they use the heck outta CGI, but the stories are interesting, the action is good, and the wokeness nonexistent- Chinese are proud of being Chinese.
