The federal reserve chair, Jerome Powell, says that opening the economy too quickly can cause a Coronavirus spike.

His opinion is idiotic. It is just another example of a bureaucrat echoing the opinions of Fauci because it is the safe, and gutless, thing to do.

If the above article is true, then isn’t it odd that Coronavirus new cases in Texas are about one tenth what they were a few months ago - all while the mask mandates and lockdowns were lifted?
