Bad design - didn’t take into account some areas get really cold... I wouldn’t want this car in International Falls.
Shouldn’t have been a surprise. Fairly common knowledge that battery performance declines in cold weather. I have a friend who loves his Tesla but one day this last winter he charged it up and took a long drive including a mountain pass. Battery charge levels start dropping rapidly and he found himself driving up the hill so slowly that the car actually started slipping backwards every couple of feet.
