I am sure they gave us a proper sequence for one of the dominant original covid variants.

The evidence shows they did.

I think there was a bad accident and more than one virus was released, but the very deadly one was contained and burned itself out.

It wouldn't be unprecedented. We know Sars coronavirus-1 escaped a chinese lab twice. We also know they were researching bat coronaviruses even then and we also know this bat coronavirus has gain of function adaptations that are highly suggestive of biological weapon engineering-namely the fact that Covid19 has a higher affinity for the Human ACE2 receptor than for any known animal ACE2 receptor. How'd that happen? Just a coinicidence I guess. And then there's the mysterious Furin Cleavage site.

I have to work around this virus so I've always assumed it's a weapon anyways just out of an abundance of caution but the evidence supports that assumption. Was it released accidentally or intentionally? You don't want to think intentional but you don't want to think that it's a weapon either. You don't want to think that it could wipe out a large chunk of humanity but, then again, we know there are powerful people that want to do just that. And now, here we are.
