A lot of this police intimidation occurred during Obama’s sham administration as well...

Democrats know their Communist tactics well.

The CHP is California’s “State Police” since 1995: (i.e. “Texas Rangers” or “State Troopers”): https://www.chp.ca.gov/home/about-us/the-history-of-the-california-highway-patrol/milestones-in-time/merger-of-the-highway-patrol-and-the-state-police

And in 1990: “The CHP is directed by Governor Pete Wilson to provide law enforcement services to any city or police jurisdiction requesting assistance.”

I guess the Capitol Police could have just contacted the county sheriff or police dept. of the city where the guy lives. They probably figured CHP would “go along” better than a county sheriff.

I would love to know who contacted the CHP to investigate alleged on-line threats to an out of state representative, who resides 3000 miles from CA. From my perspective, if this were thought to be a credible legitimate threat, the FBI would conduct the investigation. I would guess these people in D.C. are receiving so many threats (Or comments they don't like), on-line or otherwise, they're using everyone they can to make it appear they're being investigated to appease the corrupt misfits in D.C.

If I were some big public figure and was receiving threats I thought were credible and I was told the California Highway Patrol would be investigating these cyber threats, I'd be thinking I was being pranked. Where's the hidden camera??...lol

Yeah it is all total BS, but in legit cases the out-of-state agency is the one doing the “investigation”...the other agency (i.e. CHP) would just be asking Q’s provided by the other agency and reporting back to them.

I have heard the the “Capitol Police” is the largest “force” in the country!! (2300 officers/$460 million budget) Kinda crazy!!!

Well, I’d hope they’d being doing more than asking questions. If I were going to someones door who’s allegedly making violent threats, I’d want to know their entire history/background.

Btw, NYC has about 32,000 cops. There are many others departments with more personnel than the Capitol police.

OK, but 2300 cops for like 500 representatives seems like a lot. 32K cops in NYC! How many is that per sq. mile?! I am sure the Capitol Police are getting the history/bkg. of the “perp” (American Patriot exercising his 1st amendment rights)...my only point was that “other agency assist’s” usually involve the “local” agency “representing” the other agency and asking the Q’s/scoping out/evaluating on their behalf...originating agency is still doing the “investigating”.

Yes. Well, Surprise Surprise Surprise.

They don’t want any cops, until They need them.

But you don’t need them and you don’t need your guns.

Head Shake.

Ask them to show their ID/badges, then say, “Wait a sec, for ‘quality assurance purposes’, I will record this interview.”, then break out your cell phone and start taping the “interview” (cough).

See how long they stay around. Roaches hate being outed.
