THEY DO IT THAT WAY for most PGA tournaments!!!!! The Golf Channel shows it on Thursday and Friday, and early on Saturday & sometimes early on Sunday too. And one of the four networks (ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC) shows the play on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Chill, dude... It's only golf. !!!! aren't necessary.

Apparently, CBS has a special arrangement with The Masters that makes the TV coverage different from other PGA tournaments.

Apparently, CBS has a special arrangement with The Masters No, they have an exclusive contract with the PGA. The deal will value the total package of rights at about $700 million per year until 2030 giving them and NBC exclusive rights to cover all PGA events........
CBS will broadcast an average of 19 tour events per year over the course of the deal and NBC will average eight.
