Could you be kind enough to interpret briefly those links for laymen? I am familiar with abstracts and sundry scientific papers, but having a hard time with those.

Yes, I did. I find that they combine phase numbers so a section I’m reading will say it’s for phase II/III etc. Sometimes they refer to phase I/II or I/II/III but phase III isn’t complete.
